Pyramid works with people with learning disabilities and/or autism in groups and one-to-one to help people discover, explore and enjoy the arts, and develop as artists to the full extent of their abilities and ambitions.
We’re always looking for new members and work with people with all levels of ability. We even have specialised sessions for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities.
We pride ourselves on providing bespoke creative activity packages that suit the individual’s interest while working around their schedule and support needs.

Why join Pyramid?

Discover accessible art
At Pyramid, art means all art forms: painting, drawing, music, dance, theatre, film, photography, sculpture – anything our members want to try! Activities are run by a group of highly experienced freelance artists with collective expertise in all creative practices. Our groups are open to all abilities and people learn as they go, entirely at their own pace.
Make new, lifelong friends
Pyramid groups are social. They are fun and members often stay for many years, forming long-term friendships. Our members are shown to have improved social skills, self-confidence and better mental health because of their participation in our groups and one-to-one sessions. Pyramid also puts on regular events and exhibitions, celebrating the creative work members produce each term.

Develop your creative practice
Our one-to-one sessions are a chance for people with a learning disability and/or autism to work with a professional artist. This is ideal for people who have an interest or skill in an art form they wish to further develop, or for those who want to try creative activities without a group setting. The type and length of sessions are entirely tailored to the wants and needs of the individual.
