Pyramid has been supporting people with learning disabilities and autism to create artwork in Leeds for over thirty-five years

We know the work we do at Pyramid is special. We are proud of the artwork and events we have on display throughout the city, from permanent sculptures at Meanwood Valley Urban Farm and Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills, to regular exhibitions in important community venues like Bramley Baths and Seagulls Reuse. This work inspires pride in our members and shows the public the amazing things that artists with learning disabilities and autism are capable of. 

Helping people with learning disabilities and autism grow as artists

Pyramid’s great work goes far beyond the artwork that our members make. We offer bespoke programmes to ensure every member receives the creative support that meets their needs, whether it’s being part of a group, taking part in our flexible studio time, or receiving one-to-one mentorship from a professional artist. Our members learn new skills at Pyramid, improve their mental health and make friends for life. Parents and carers often approach us to let us know that the service we provide is life-changing for our members and their families.

Why we need your help today

In an increasingly challenging financial climate we are struggling to reach the level of funding needed to deliver work of this high quality. Major financial challenges across the arts and social care sectors, alongside ever-increasing costs, mean that our small core team need to work even harder to gain the funding required to survive. Any and all additional financial support is gratefully received and will be spent on supporting our member artists to reach their full creative potential.
